The John Tyndall Correspondence Project makes every reasonable effort to locate, contact, and acknowledge owners of copyright in letters as part of our policy of ensuring that we have not made any omissions or given improper or erroneous information concerning the source of literary and other works included in our publications, including publication on this Project website.

We welcome any information that might lead us to make proper attributions, identify copyright owners, or correct copyright acknowledgements in our publications. We would be most grateful to those who assist us toward these goals.

Notice and Takedown policy

If you are a rights holder and are concerned that you have found material on the Tyndall Correspondence Project website for which you have not given permission or which is not covered by a legal exception or exemption, please contact us in writing using the above electronic form, or by post, fax or email, stating the following:

• Your contact details
• The full bibliographical details of the material
• The exact and full URL where you found the material
• A statement and any proof you may provide that you are the rights holder or are an authorised representative thereof.

Upon receipt of notification, the Tyndall Correspondence Project will acknowledge receipt of your complaint by email or letter and will make an initial assessment of the validity of the complaint.  Upon receipt of a valid complaint the material will be removed from the Tyndall Correspondence Project website pending an agreed solution.
